1. Eligibility & Account Security

2. Acceptable Use

3. Service Functionality; No Official Affiliation

The Service may support workflows related to tax documentation and external tools. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of the National Tax Agency of Japan or any e-Tax system. Automations and outputs may require review; you remain responsible for accuracy, filings, and compliance. Marketing claims must not be relied upon as guarantees (Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations (Act No. 134 of 1962)).

4. Subscriptions, Fees, Renewal, Cancellation

If you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation. Fees, billing cycle, and cancellation timing are described in the “Specified Commercial Transactions Disclosure” section below (Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (Act No. 57 of 1976), Article 11; Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (Act No. 57 of 1976), Article 12; Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (Act No. 57 of 1976), Article 15-2).

5. Privacy, Tax Documents, and My Number

We process personal information for defined purposes and provide notice of purpose and contact point (Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), Article 17; Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), Article 18). If personal data is transferred or handled cross-border, we will address required matters and obtain/implement required measures (Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), Article 27; Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), Article 28). If tax documents contain My Number (“specific personal information”), we handle it under strict purpose limitation and safeguards and do not request broad collection or retention beyond what is legally required (Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 27 of 2013)).

6. Cookies/Tags and Outward Transmission

If we use third-party tags/SDKs that transmit device or usage data to third parties, we will provide advance notice/public disclosure and required choices as applicable (Telecommunications Business Act (Act No. 86 of 1984), Article 27-12).

7. Email Communications

Where we send marketing email, we will identify the sender and provide opt-in/opt-out handling as required (Act on Regulation of Transmission of Specified Electronic Mail).

8. Availability; Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) for maintenance, security, or business reasons. We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through reasonable means.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
